I followed the path and it lead me there,
it lead me to the crooked path where,
I found the things I’d been looking for,
I’d searched up and down the shore,
I climbed a mountain, twice in fact,
I rode down a river and then back,
I’d sat with eyes looking at the sky,
at times I doubted and asked why,
but inside my heart I knew the call,
I knew the drill as if it were nothing at all,
I knew that soon my vision of life,
would shift and turn with much less strife,
I knew that if I’d weather this load,
the rewards would reveal a magic code,
of a life well lived with perspective fair,
summoning richness beyond compare.
